Our heartfelt thanks to The Company Shop Group for their generous donation of £1000 in vouchers for their Edinburgh store. Located in Wester Hailes, their shop is just a hop, skip and a jump from our own building and we’re so grateful to them for reaching out to us and the young people we work with.
The vouchers, along with the day passes they have also provided, have now been distributed to local families. They will make a huge difference to families that are navigating the additional challenges that the Covid-19 crisis has created.
The Company Shop takes surplus stock from elsewhere and makes it available to its members. This means that unnecessary waste is avoided and members access high quality food and household products at a deeply discounted prices. With local people benefitting, it’s a win-win situation!
