The Easter holidays have been busy at the Youth Agency. As we’ve welcomed lighter nights and the (sometimes) nicer weather we’ve had lots of opportunities to try some new activities during the holiday period. As it’s Easter, we’ve also indulged in more than a little chocolate!
Our junior group had a great visit to the National Galleries of Scotland Museum of Modern Art. Thank you so much to Amy, Kate and Kesha at the Galleries for hosting us, showing us around, feeding us and helping our young people create their own art. We visited some of the gallery rooms and explored an exhibition of work by the artist Alberta Whittle. The young people had an amazing time and loved the experience of visiting a gallery. As an extra treat, they were sent home with a bag full of their own art supplies!
Our groups have also been creative in the baking department creating Easter nests and decorating chocolate cakes. More is more where Easter baking is concerned.
The Easter Bunny even stopped by with chocolate eggs for everyone. Thanks to Lift Gyms in Edinburgh and all of their customers for helping the Easter Bunny. We know they appreciated it!
