Our work with our S6 peer educators at Forrester High School has recently ended. The group of sixth year pupils worked very hard to put together drug, alcohol and tobacco awareness sessions for younger pupils in the school and even gave up part of their school holidays to practice.
Their hard work paid off when they took over a total of eight S1 classes to deliver drug awareness sessions and seven S2 classes to deliver alcohol and tobacco awareness sessions. We are delighted to report that the sessions were a great success and the feedback received from the younger pupils was extremely positive.
We have been very lucky to have been working with a wonderful group of young people and were delighted to acknowledge and reward their hard work with a meal out. Here are some during and after pictures……
Well done and our thanks to everyone involved.
