We’ve had a great January at the drop in and are nice and settled into the new year.
Last week saw us celebrating our national poet with Burn’s Day celebrations. Haggis came in various forms including haggis stovies (a little hit or miss) and haggis and tattie scone (big hit). Our little ones enjoyed a Scottish themed scavenger hunt and our older ones created and ran a Burns quiz night with a bit of a twist.
Following our Scottish celebrations, we were straight into celebrating in Chinese New Year.
This year is the year of the snake and our groups got crafty making a huge, colourful snake to celebrate.
Keep posted for February fun!
