June was a busy month at the Youth Agency. As schools, teachers and pupils prepared to pack up for the summer, we bade a very fond farewell to the outgoing sixth year and welcomed the new.
The senior pupils enjoyed a hectic few weeks of festivities which began with the S6 leavers ceilidh and culminated in the end of year prom. If you ever need us guys you know where we are!
We also attended a wonderful and inspiring Forrester High School Awards ceremony and were delighted to award Cerise Gander the Wester Hailes Youth Agency for Personal Achievement. Well done and well deserved Cerise.
Over at the Pyramid the drop-in continued to be fun-packed and busy as we squeezed in not one, but two cooking sessions. Our young people loved the pasta served with tomato sauce, a variety of toppings and garlic bread. Later in June they devoured the offerings in the seasonal, and a little bit exotic, fruit kebabs which went perfectly with the beautiful summer weather.
We wish everyone a great summer with lots more sunshine!
