So for a bit of fun we have decided to ask all our staff to take a trip down memory lane and share some interesting and funny facts about themselves from their childhood and teenage years (and maybe a picture or two).
Every month we will feature a different member of staff and first up we have Clare, who is our Business Development and Fundraising Officer and we have asked her…
What was your favourite band growing up?
Counting Crows
What was your favourite game/activity?
I was a bit of a card shark in my younger days and loved playing Speed card game – you played against your partner and tried to get all the suits first.
What were you like when you were at school?
I had a good group of friends and loved reading.
“When I was young”……….
We were climbing a munro and I fell down a huge hole (I couldn’t see out of it), I had to be lifted out by my friends who thought it was hilarious.
Tell us a random fact that no one knows about you…
I would quite like to have green hair
What is your secret talent/party trick?
Finding things
What is your favourite memory of working at the Youth Agency?
One of my favourite memories of working at the Youth Agency was when we took part in a fundraising race as Muddy YAGS for Cancer Research. Lots of mud, obstacles and 80’s style costume all contribute to a great day out.
If you could invite anyone along to the Pyramid for a night who would it be and why?
I would invite people from the local community who don’t know about the Youth Agency and what we do so they could see how great it is.
