Wester Hailes Youth Agency were delighted to be picked as a chosen charity by the Sighthill office of Lloyds bank. Each month employees enjoy a dress down day and, in return, contribute their spare change (sometimes more) to charity.
Yasmeen Rew, who attended on the day, was particularly moved by the generosity of Lloyds employees. Following the collection Yasmeen said, “It was a really enjoyable day and the staff going in and out of the building were lovely. They were extremely generous and often stopped to have a chat, to ask about the Youth Agency and what we do.”
Overall, more than £360 was collected which, with the possibility of matched funding from Lloyds bank, is a terrific boost for the Youth Agency.
