Have you ever tried making ice cream without a freezer? We have here at the Pyramid. Our young people got active and creative making ice cream with ice, sandwich bags and cream. It’s fair to say that we had varying degrees of success but we had a lot of fun. We maybe had to drink some of it but it tasted great!
While we were rolling our sleeves and getting stuck in our young people also decided to make some slime. Always a winner with young people, they particularly enjoyed letting adding in lots of weird and wonderful additions to make it look and feel different.
Our creativity in recent weeks has also extended to the kitchen. Our seniors cooked up an Italian feast with lots of different fresh pasta sauces and our younger ones went all in for the sweet treats. It’s fair to say a particular highlight was the sweet calzone pizzas made in minutes in our pizza oven. So tasty – and a thumbs up from all of us here!
